Follow these steps to activate Wi-Fi on your Android phone: At the Home screen, touch the Apps icon.
Open the Settings app.
Ensure that the Wi-Fi master control icon is on.
If not, slide the master control from Off to On to activate the phone’s Wi-Fi radio.
If you’ve already configured your phone to connect to an available wireless
network, it’s connected automatically.
Otherwise, you have to connect to an available network, which is covered in the next section.
